Meet Sir FOMO

Sir Reginald Fomoworth III

Former City financier. Now an investigator of cryptocurrency market activity, token launches and the extraordinary world of memecoins.

Sir Reginald in his leather chair with a cup of tea in one hand and a smartphone in the other
Tea in one hand, the markets in the other: Sir Reginald in his private office, within sight of Westminster.

Sir Reginald Fomoworth III was trained in the old traditions of City finance: ledgers kept in ink, research done properly, judgement exercised soundly, and Earl Grey taken at four o’clock precisely.

Then cryptocurrency came along. Memecoins, moonshots, viral rumours and extraordinary fortunes — a great many of them made, and rather more of them lost, in the space of an afternoon.

Naturally, Sir Reginald was horrified.

Then intrigued.

And finally, he acquired a rather powerful laptop.

Now he investigates cryptocurrency markets with modern technology and old-fashioned financial scepticism. He counts what actually happened, keeps the receipts, and declines — politely, but quite firmly — to be carried away by the crowd.

He is not a tipster and never will be. A loud coin, in his experience, is merely a loud coin. What interests him is the evidence: who launched it, what the chain recorded, how similar launches fared, and how much of the story survives a proper look.

“The market is talking, dear fellow. It does not follow that it is saying anything sensible.”

From the ledger

His principles

  1. I.

    Never confuse popularity with quality.

  2. II.

Never trust a claim that cannot withstand investigation.

  3. III.

Never allow excitement to outrun the evidence.

The plain facts

What he actually does

The character is invented; the research is not. Behind Sir Reginald sits a research desk that records Solana token launches and market activity, and shows its sources.

  • Counts every launch

Every Pump.fun coin created on Solana is counted from the chain, the failures included, and a random sample is followed from its first minute.

    The launch radar
  • Investigates a token

Its launch, bonding curve and first hour of trading, with the transaction, account or snapshot behind every figure.

    Token investigations
  • Looks into the creator

What a wallet launched before and what became of it, using only what could have been known at the time.

    Creator history
  • Studies the patterns

Which early signs are associated with later outcomes — tested on later launches, with the misses and the limits stated.

    Pump Anatomy research
  • Answers questions

From recorded evidence only. Every finding is cited, every unknown is admitted, and buy or sell calls are declined.

    Ask Sir FOMO
  • What he will not do

    • Recommend, rank or “call” any coin
    • Trade, hold funds or ask for private keys
    • Mistake a loud coin for a likely winner
    • Fill a gap in the data with a guess

“If you have a token, a creator or a question, do bring it in. The kettle is on, and there is rather a lot to investigate.”

Signed, Sir Reginald Fomoworth III
